Give your time

Money keeps children in school; people keep them believing in themselves. There are two ways to give your time, and both start with a short note to the team.

Volunteer

Events and clinic days

Help at our annual celebrations, back-to-school events and eye clinic days, or join us each June 13 for International Albinism Awareness Day. Every pair of hands frees our resources for the children who need them.

Mentor

Our mentorship program

A holistic, skill-oriented program that shapes learners with albinism into confident role models. Mentors share their time, their trade and their own path, so students can picture where education leads.

Become a mentor

Outside Kenya?

Our workshops and webinars share research and lived experience to challenge myths about albinism. Educators, clinicians, researchers and speakers can take part from anywhere. Offer a talk

Partner from anywhere

This is the international home of the foundation. Hospitals, schools, companies and individuals outside Kenya write to us every week to fund school fees, send sunscreen and lenses, mentor a student, or bring this work to their own country.

Start a conversation

Corporate & institutional

Fund a cohort of school fees or an eye clinic, as NCBA Bank has done every year since 2023.

Education

Schools can welcome learners with albinism and help us make classrooms work for low vision.

Supplies

Donate sunscreen, wide-brimmed hats, photochromatic lenses and low-vision aids.

Research & speaking

Collaborate on research, or invite Dr. Choksey to speak about albinism and eye care.

Our partners

We are grateful to everyone who helps give the Gift of Sight, the Gift of Education, and Wings to Fly.

Dr. Choksey’s books

Dr. Prabha V. Choksey gives the proceeds from her books to the Dr. Choksey Albinism Foundation, so every copy helps a child with albinism see, learn and stay in school.
