The partnership between NCBA Bank and the Dr. Choksey Albinism Foundation has transformed the lives of hundreds of children with albinism through educational support since 2015.
On February 21, 2023, NCBA held its cheque-handover event at NCBA House, with keynote speakers including the Director of Secondary Education, Mr. Paul Kibet, NCBA Group Chairman Mr. James Ndegwa, and NCBA Group MD Mr. John Gachora.
The highlights were speeches by the foundation’s beneficiaries. Sharon Wamuyu spoke in sign language, and Goldalyn Kakuya Tanga described how timely support from the foundation since 2015 helped her become the top performer in the country in the 2017 KCPE examination.
The stories of all our children remain inspirational. They have risen above life’s challenges through the gift of sight, the gift of education, and above all the gift of unconditional love and compassion.
