The International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) ran a remarkable competition, Glasses of the Future, from World Sight Day on October 10 to World Children’s Day on November 20, 2024. More than 1,000 children from around the globe submitted their designs.

It was an honor for our Founder, Dr. Prabha Choksey, to serve on the panel of judges. What impressed her most was the children’s burning desire to make the world better for people with visual impairments, their ability to think inclusively, and their creative flair.

We are especially proud of winners including Natalie (9) from Kenya, Divyansha (11) from India, Yasmin (7) from Brazil, Lama (8) from Saudi Arabia, and little Grace (5) from Kenya. Congratulations to every winner. Keep shining your light on the world.
